New Compact Flash card generation is faster and less expensive
The new Compact Flash cards from the manufacturer Silicon Systems are 30 – 80 % faster than the previous CF cards, depending on the application. All industrially-relevant characteristics, such as extended temperature range, wear levelling (even distribution of the write procedures) and SLC Flash have been retained. Thanks to SiSmart technology the remaining service life can be queried, enabling preventative maintenance to be carried out. The CF cards are offered in the sizes 1, 2, 4 and 8 GB.
