TwinCAT Modbus TCP Server
The TwinCAT Modbus TCP Server connects the TwinCAT controller with the Modbus TCP world. Modbus TCP is a simple, multi-supplier and open protocol. The TwinCAT Modbus TCP Server represents a simple gateway between Modbus TCP and TwinCAT ADS devices. It can operate as a server or as a client. In server mode, TwinCAT memory areas are mapped directly to Modbus memory areas. In client mode, a number of PLC blocks are available that can be used to read inputs and input registers and to write coils and registers. It is configured via an XML file.
